Community Guidelines

How members should treat each other inside private groups, comments, reactions, and profiles.

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Syndicate is an independent app. These pages explain how the app works, how user data is handled, and the basic rules for using the service. They are not legal advice.

Private group culture

Syndicate is built for friends, group chats, fantasy leagues, game-day crews, and private sports communities. Competitive trash talk is okay when the group is comfortable with it.

Keep it fun enough that people still want to come back next week.

Not allowed

  • Harassment, threats, hate, doxxing, or targeted abuse.
  • Impersonation, scams, spam, or misleading claims about guaranteed outcomes.
  • Pressure to spend money, place bets, join a sportsbook, send funds, or copy another person's action outside the app.
  • Sharing private group content outside the group without permission.
  • Using group names, comments, or profiles to advertise prohibited products or services.

Group admins

Group admins should use settings and moderation options to keep their groups usable. Admins can remove members or archive groups when needed.

Admins should not use their role to pressure members into spending money or taking action outside the app.

Reporting concerns

If a group or member is violating these guidelines, report the issue to support@syndi.dev. Include the group name, username, and a short description of the problem.
